Burning Bright
This is a poetic, seldom-produced play by John Steinbeck which moves between a ship at sea, a circus and a farm. We created a unit set made of a simple platform / railing / stairs configuration surrounded by a number of irregularly shaped scrims painted with kind of a wave pattern and lots of taut ropes.
